Cloud Printer (Star Micronics)

there are two methods available for connecting a star micronics cloud printer to your store both methods achieve the same result, so you can choose the one that best suits your setup and device availability method 1 configure using the star quick setup utility (recommended) this is the recommended approach for configuring your star micronics printer prerequisites before you begin, ensure that the printer is connected to your network using an ethernet cable your iphone and the printer are connected to the same network the star quick setup utility app is installed from the app store/play store step 1 install the star quick setup utility download and install the star quick setup utility from the apple app store step 2 connect to your printer open the star quick setup utility app select your printer from the available devices allow all requested permissions once connected, the app will display your printer's ethernet ip address step 3 open cloudprnt settings navigate to printer settings > star cloudprnt settings step 4 configure the cloudprnt settings enter the following values enable the cloudprnt service toggle server url paste your cloudprnt server url polling time 5 seconds http response timeout 60 seconds step 5 obtain the server url to copy your cloudprnt server url open the merchant panel navigate to settings > apps > thermal printer enable the cloud printer option click the settings icon copy the generated server url paste this url into the star quick setup utility step 6 save the configuration save the settings within the app your printer is now ready to receive cloudprnt print requests method 2 configure through the printer web interface if you prefer not to use the mobile application, you can configure the printer directly using its web interface step 1 install the printer driver identify your printer model ensure you have the correct driver for your specific printer model download the driver visit the star micronics support page https //starmicronics com/support/ to download the necessary driver for your device install the driver follow the on screen instructions to complete the installation step 2 connect your printer to the network network setup connect both your computer and the printer to the same network find the printer's mac address once connected, obtain the printer's mac address as shown in the image below step 3 register hyperzod cloud printer server url set printer ip address click on the "set printer ip address" button to configure your printer settings login credentials use the default credentials to log in username root password public register hyperzod cloud printer server click on the "cloudprnt" button to set up the server url this button is visible in the image below you can find the server url go to merchant panel > apps > thermal printer > star micronics > click on setting icon > copy server url step 4 enable cloudprnt service enable cloudprnt make sure the cloudprnt service is enabled as shown in the image below save and submit click "submit" to save the settings your cloud printer is now ready to use note if you have any issues installing the driver, please connect star micronic support team https //starmicronics com/star micronics technical support https //starmicronics com/star micronics technical support
