The Order Type Scheduler allows you to control when specific order types are available to customers. Merchants can define the days and time slots during which each order type, such as Delivery or Pickup, should appear on their ordering website or app.

Example: Suppose a restaurant offers Pickup from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM and Delivery from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM. Using the Order Type Scheduler, the merchant can configure separate time slots for each order type so customers can select Pickup in the morning and Delivery from midday onward.

# Navigating to the Order Type Scheduler

- Log in to the Merchant panel for the merchant for whom you wish to configure this option.
- Once inside the Merchant panel, navigate to the Catalog section and switch to the Order Type Scheduler tab to configure it.

## Create an Order Type Schedule

- Open the Order Type Scheduler section and click to create a new schedule.
- Enter a Scheduler Name to identify the schedule. For example, Daily Delivery and Pickup Schedule.
- Under Order Types, select the order types you want to include, such as Delivery and Pickup (or the relevant custom order type configured for your store).
- Configure the schedule for each day of the week.
- Enable the required days and add the appropriate time slots.
- Click Save to save the schedule.

**Note: **Each order type can belong to only one schedule at a time. Adding an order type to a new schedule will remove it from its existing schedule.

## Configure Days and Time Slots

For each day, you can define the hours when the selected order types should be available.

- **Shifts:** Set the start and end times for the order type's availability.
- **Add Shift:** Add another time slot for the same day when needed.
- **End of Day:** Use this option when the configured shift should be treated as extending to the end of the day.
- **Active:** Enable or disable the schedule for a particular day.

**Note:** The Order Type Scheduler controls when the configured order types are available. Make sure the merchant's order types and operating hours are configured appropriately for the intended customer experience.
