ever wish you could have a special menu that only appears during breakfast hours? or maybe you have lunch specials that you don't want customers ordering at 8 pm? the product scheduler is the perfect tool for this! this feature gives you full control to make specific products available for purchase only on the days and times you choose it's a fantastic way to manage your menu automatically, so you don't have to worry about customers ordering items that you aren't ready to prepare navigate to the product scheduler first things first, let's navigate to the right place in your merchant panel in the merchant panel, on the left hand side of your screen find and click on catalog inside the catalog section, you will see a few tabs at the top of the page (like product, category, etc ) click on the tab that says product scheduler once you start creating schedules, they will appear in a neat list on this page, making them easy to manage creating your first schedule on the product scheduler page, click the blue create new button in the top right corner important note a product can only belong to one schedule at a time for example, if you add "egg sandwich" to your "breakfast menu," you cannot also add it to a different "lunch menu" schedule this prevents any confusion for your customers name your schedule type a name that makes sense to you for our example, let's type breakfast menu add products to your schedule on the right side of the screen, you'll see a list of your "available products" simply click on the products you want to add to this schedule as you click them, they will appear on the left, under the "products" section set the days and times this is where you tell the system exactly when these products should be available note the scheduler will always use the time zone you have set for your store find the day look for the day of the week you want to set, for example, monday add a shift click the + add shift button for that day time boxes will appear set the time in the boxes enter the start and end times activate the day make sure the blue toggle switch on the far right is on for that day save your schedule once you're happy with the name, products, and timings, just scroll to the bottom and click the blue save button congratulations! you've just created your first product schedule when a customer visits your store during a time a product is not on the schedule, they won't be able to add it to their cart instead, the product will appear greyed out with a simple, clear message telling them when it will be available next managing your schedules as you create more schedules (like "lunch specials," "weekend deals," etc ), they will all be listed on the main product scheduler page here’s a quick walkthrough to manage them status toggle the blue switch lets you quickly turn an entire schedule on or off without deleting it actions buttons view click this for a quick pop up summary of the schedule's days and times edit click this to make changes to a schedule you've already created delete click this to permanently remove a schedule you're all set! and just like that, your menu is smarter and your operations are smoother by showing customers exactly what's available and when, you create a clear and frustration free experience now, go on and make your customers happy!
