Order Assigning Logics

Autozod presents three assignment logics, namely "All," "Round Robin," and "Force Assign," each designed to efficiently allocate delivery tasks based on different parameters and operational needs.

Document image
ο»Ώ

ο»Ώ

  • Round Robin: Orders are offered to the closest available rider first within the assigning radius; if rejected or not accepted within a timeframe, it goes to the next available rider within the same radius.

ο»Ώ

  • All: Orders are sent to all available riders within the assigning radius; first acceptance gets the delivery.

ο»Ώ

  • Force Assign: Orders are forcibly assigned to the closest rider within the assigning radius without the option to accept/reject, ensuring swift allocation of deliveries.

ο»Ώ

Max Tasks per Agent: Set the maximum number of orders a driver can handle simultaneously. Once this limit is reached, the system will halt sending or assigning new orders until ongoing ones are delivered.

Document image
ο»Ώ

ο»Ώ

Task Lock Minutes: After this duration, task statuses cannot be reversed, and final incentives are calculated and added to Autozod reports.

Document image
ο»Ώ

ο»Ώ

Agent Task Accept Seconds: Specify the time frame within which driver apps must accept order requests before they expire.

Assignment Modes (Auto/ Manual assignment)

Enable for auto-assignment or disable for manual assignment directly from the Autozod dashboard, offering flexibility in managing order allocation based on your preference.

Auto Assign Re-attempts

  • Auto Assign Retries: It dictates the number of attempts the system makes to auto-assign an order after initial failure, encompassing scenarios where no rider accepts the order within the time limit, all riders reject it, or when no available rider is found.
Document image
ο»Ώ

ο»Ώ

  • Auto Assign Retry Backoff: Set the waiting time before the auto-assign retries restart.
Document image
ο»Ώ

ο»Ώ

Order Assigning Radius

Task Agent Max Radius (miles): It determines the distance from the originating store's location. Within this radius, the system searches for available agents to fulfill order requests.

Number Masking Settings

You can now make the required configuration to use masked numbers for communication between riders and customers, and riders and merchants. Also, note that it's mandatory to use Twilio, as number masking is only possible through it.

Configure the Account SID and Auth Token. You will find these details on the Twilio dashboard.

The next step is the configuration of the webhook. You can copy the webhook from the Autozod panel settings.

Document image
ο»Ώ

Now, go to the Twilio dashboard > phone number > active numbers.

Document image
ο»Ώ

Select the number to configure the webhook. (Please note that voice must be enabled for these numbers.)

Document image
ο»Ώ

Configure the webhook URL with the one copied from the Autozod panel, and complete the other configurations as mentioned in the screenshot below

Document image
ο»Ώ

After the configuration is completed you can test the number masking feature. Note: Since two numbers are utilized for one active order, we recommend purchasing at least three numbers. Additionally, if there are three active orders, they will need six Twilio numbers. Once the orders are delivered, the numbers will be free respectively and can be used for another order. If Twilio numbers are less than the required numbers for those orders, number masking won't work, and customers or drivers will get calls from the original contact number.

Rider's Incentive Calculation Logics

  • Distance Calculation Method: Select between Gmap (straight line) or Actual distance (route-based) for determining rider incentives based on distance traveled and time spent bonuses.
Document image
ο»Ώ

ο»Ώ

  • Starting Point for Distance Travelled Calculation: Specify whether the calculation for rider incentives, considering distance traveled, begins from the point of assignment to the rider or from the order pickup location.
Document image
ο»Ώ

ο»Ώ

  • Time Incentive Calculation Starting Point: Define whether the calculation for rider incentives, based on time spent, initiates from the assignment of the order to the rider or from the moment the order is picked up from the store.

Rider's Distance/Time-Based Payout Configuration

  • Minimum Wage: Set a minimum wage to ensure riders receive a base amount per order, regardless of calculated incentives. For example, if a calculation yields $6 but the minimum wage is set to $10, the rider receives $10 for that order.
Document image
ο»Ώ

ο»Ώ

  • Distance-based Incentives: Define ranges and rates per mile/kilometer traveled to fulfill delivery orders. Example: For a 12-mile order, calculate incentives based on each range: $15 for 0-5 miles range with a rate of $3 per mile, $25 for a 5-10 miles range with a rate of $5 per mile, and $16 for the remaining 2 miles for 10-20 miles range with the rate of 8$ per mile, resulting in a total incentive of $56 for that order. Similarly, click on "Add New" to create additional distance ranges.
Document image
ο»Ώ

ο»Ώ

  • Time-based Incentives: Add additional incentives on top of distance-based incentives if orders are delivered within specified timeframes corresponding to the set distance ranges. Example: If a rider completes a 3-mile order in under 5 minutes, they receive an extra $5 bonus, aligned with the 0-5 mile range set within a 5-minute timeframe. Similarly, for an 8-mile order delivered in less than 12 minutes, the rider earns an additional $10 bonus, reflecting the 5-10 mile range within a 12-minute timeframe. Similarly, click on "Add New" to specify corresponding timeframes for bonuses.
