how to configure global serviceable zones? this feature is primarily designed for administrators to exert comprehensive control over the areas from which they intend to serve customers at a top level hierarchy stores are required to configure their serviceable areas within the administrative serviceable zones to align with this control note this setting not only facilitates serving customers but also allows administrators to make decisions regarding the temporary or permanent exclusion of specific areas or cities from service navigating to the serviceable zones page on the admin panel, click on "settings " then click "serviceable zones " creating a serviceable zone you can set up zones using a radius , a custom geofence , or by selecting an entire country , depending on how your business operates and the areas you want to serve add zone on the serviceable zones page, click on the add zone button to create a new zone address use the search bar to find your location select the desired result from google maps set marker drag and drop the marker on the map for a precise location zone name provide a name for internal reference; it won't be visible to customers zone types (radius/ geofence/ country) radius enter the number, and it draws a circle of the mentioned radius from your marker point geofence allows you to draw your serviceable areas directly on the map multiple geofences can be drawn to define various serviceable regions this is useful when you want to serve only certain neighborhoods set country select one or more countries from the list where merchants can offer their services save the zone click "save" to create the specified zone you can repeat this process to add multiple zones based on areas or cities zone management toggle disable to temporarily stop receiving orders from a specific zone (e g , birmingham), disable the toggle you can re enable it at any time deletion if a zone becomes obsolete, ensure to delete it click " save " to update and save the configured settings frequently asked questions (faqs) what is the difference between radius, geofence, and country zones? radius zones are ideal for hyperlocal delivery (e g , “deliver within 5 km of my store”), geofence zones lets you draw custom shapes for very specific neighborhoods or streets, while country zones are best for businesses serving an entire country or multiple regions choose the type that aligns with how you operate your delivery or service coverage will customers outside the serviceable zone see my store? customers outside your defined zones will not be able to place orders, and depending on your settings, will also not see the store listed at all can i create separate serviceable zones for pickup and delivery? currently, serviceable zones apply universally to both pickup and delivery this means the boundaries you define apply to both pickup and delivery services simultaneously can i leave the admin serviceable zone blank and create serviceable zones only for each merchant? you can leave the admin serviceable zone completely blank and instead define individual serviceable zones for each merchant in their respective merchant panel in this setup, every merchant will operate within their own defined boundaries, giving you full flexibility to customize coverage areas based on each merchant’s service reach can i create multiple serviceable zones? you can define as many serviceable zones as your business requires there are no limits on the number of zones you can create, allowing you to scale your coverage as your operations grow
