the driver earnings feature allows you to create flexible payout rules for your delivery drivers instead of relying on a single earning model, you can combine multiple earning components such as driver tips, order percentage commissions, distance based payouts, quick delivery bonuses, and hourly earnings using the driver earnings builder, you can configure exactly how drivers are compensated for each delivery and create incentive structures that encourage better performance and faster deliveries this flexibility allows you to build a customised driver compensation model that aligns with your operational goals and driver incentive strategy navigating to the driver earnings section within the autozod panel, go to settings and scroll down to the driver earnings section to configure the earning rules you want to apply setting up driver earnings rules the driver earnings builder allows you to create a flexible payout structure for your delivery drivers by combining multiple earning components into a single compensation model enable the driver earnings feature and configure the earning rules you want to use for driver payouts flat per delivery the flat per delivery earning rule allows you to pay drivers a fixed amount for every completed delivery, regardless of the order value, delivery distance, or delivery duration pass through earnings pass through earnings allows specific charges collected from customers to be passed directly to the driver this is used for driver tips delivery fees when enabled, the selected charges are displayed directly to the driver's earnings for example, if a customer leaves a tip of €5 and the driver tip pass through is enabled, the driver receives the full €5 tip to review the driver earnings, you can open the driver app > earnings and review the earnings accordingly order percentage order percentage allows drivers to earn a percentage of the order subtotal you can enter the percentage of the order subtotal that should be paid to the driver distance based earnings define ranges and rates per mile/kilometer traveled to fulfil delivery orders example for a 12 mile order, calculate incentives based on each range $15 for 0 5 miles range with a rate of $3 per mile, $25 for a 5 10 miles range with a rate of $5 per mile, and $16 for the remaining 2 miles for 10 20 miles range with the rate of 8$ per mile, resulting in a total incentive of $56 for that order similarly, click on "add slab" to create additional distance ranges minimum wage set a minimum wage to ensure riders receive a base amount per order, regardless of calculated incentives for example, if a calculation yields $6 but the minimum wage is set to $10, the rider receives $10 for that order quick delivery/ time based bonus quick delivery is a performance based bonus that rewards drivers for completing deliveries within specified time limits add additional incentives on top of distance based incentives if orders are delivered within specified timeframes corresponding to the set distance ranges example if a rider completes a 3 mile order in under 5 minutes, they receive an extra $5 bonus, aligned with the 0 5 mile range set within a 5 minute timeframe similarly, for an 8 mile order delivered in less than 12 minutes, the rider earns an additional $10 bonus, reflecting the 5 10 mile range within a 12 minute timeframe similarly, click on "add slab" to specify corresponding timeframes for bonuses hourly earnings with the time based incentives, you can also configure hourly earnings to allow drivers to receive compensation based on the time they actively spend delivering orders you can define the earnings rate as how much the driver earns per hour while actively delivering orders the activation threshold defines when hourly earnings should begin hourly compensation will only apply if the driver's active delivery duration exceeds the configured threshold
